Most worm
farms can get your worms delivered to you in the mail or by courier
services. If you want to buy worms it is a good idea to ask for the
order to sent on a Monday. This way there is less chance that your worms
will be stuck on some truck all weekend long in the hot sun.
Your
worm supplier should offer you a guarantee of live delivery.
meaning if the worms die on the way, you will get a refund or a new
batch of worms for free.
If
there is no guarantee of live delivery... Run the other way and
get them some where else. Please do not ask us for worms. We have our
local market to look after and are quite happy with our business as is.
Get
your worm beds ready a week before you buy the worms. This will make
sure your feed won't heat up and the moisture within the bed to be
consistent. Ask the worm supplier all the questions you can and
they should help you with setting up your worm beds.
